Where unresolvable conflict situations arise in the workplace, JGU employees can turn to the Konfliktberaatungsstelle (conflict advice service) (in German) for help. Staff at the centre are obliged to treat all oral and written information in the strictest confidence and may not disclose that information to any third party not involved in the dispute.
The Equality and Diversity Office deals with all matters of gender equality and diversity management and gives advice on

In Psychologically stressful or crisis situations – irrespective of whether these arise at university or in your private life – help and counselling is always available at the Mental Health Services for Students office (Psychotherapeutische Beratungsstelle) of the JGU. Please note that you must be enrolled as a doctoral student or employed at the JGU to use this service.
